Notes:

  • These are simplified tables, see the model links for more complete information.
  • Type refers to the signal class (analog or digital). The amplifier signal class usually matches the filter signal class, so it is not listed.
  • FM refers to oscillator based carriers/modulators (vs. frequency modulation by LFO, EG, etc).
  • A lot of bands usually indicates a formant filter.
  • * Oberheim Matrix12/Xpander also has a 3 pole (18dB) phase shift filter. Multiple filter configurations (low + high, low + notch, low + phase) are possible.
  • ** Roland Super Jupiter up to version 4 (serial numbers up to 511800) used IR3109 filter, while version 5 (serial numbers 511800 on up) uses the IR3R05 filter.
